The NCWA and LoudKid Films are excited to launch a crowdfunding campaign dedicated to raising the remaining funding to complete our documentary telling the story of collegiate wrestling. The film follows the University of Toledo’s NCWA wrestling team as they chase a national title and grapple with upholding their esteemed reputation of the past. Much like Toledo’s wrestling team, collegiate wrestling has faced challenges over the years and those who are passionate about the sport are finding new ways to elevate it.
To showcase the rich history of wrestling, the importance of collegiate wrestling, and the bright future of the sport, LoudKid Films has interviewed legends, coaches, and athletes to bring the film to life. With the help of the National Collegiate Wrestling Association, the National Wrestling Hall of Fame, and the University of Toledo wrestling program we hope to share this documentary with the masses and inspire a new generation of wrestling greats.

What's Next For The Film?
Our documentary began production in September 2022. The LoudKid Films team is now traveling across the country to conduct final interviews and capture remaining footage. Finishing production allows the team to collect all of the assets needed to complete the documentary like footage, sound bites, and interviews.
Once production of the film is complete, the LoudKid Films team will move into the post-production phase. This is when we begin to incorporate elements such as music, sound design, graphics, archival footage, and pictures. Every piece of footage will require polishing like color correction and audio mixing. The post-production phase is vital to the quality of the final film as we ensure its optimization for distribution.
After the film is complete, we want to share it with as many people as possible. The documentary will premiere at a theatre located in one of the cities associated with the project. We will then submit the final version to various national and international film festivals and travel through the circuit to hopefully secure distribution on a network or streaming platform.
